GSN Mission
Go Sustainable Now (GSN) with its fiscal sponsor, the Community Foundation of the Verdugos, is on a mission to reduce California’s CO2 emissions over the next 10 years (stats to be posted soon). This year, we’re activating our ‘Go Green’ sustainable home+office architectural building design concepts and ‘know-how.’
In the future; GSN’s headquarters and volunteer center will stimulate enthusiasm for sustainable living and prove that it can be inexpensive, uncomplicated, and highly effective.
GSN stated goal is to bring its’ carbon negative building methods to communities across California and eventually, across the United States.

GSN’s Carbon Negative Initiatives
Building with Hemp
Hempcrete and Hempwool provide excellent (R Value) thermal insulation and have far less impact on the environment than other conventional building materials.
Collecting Rainwater
Encouraging effective and efficient rainwater collection systems reduces stress on our lakes, reservoirs and rivers. There are numerous methods GSN promotes.
Protecting the Monarchs
Monarch butterflies are on endangered species list. GSN is creating collaborative partnerships to establish milkweed and natural pollinator habitats in private homes, farm lands, schools and more.
A key part of GSN’s mission is to educate the community by providing on-site + hands-on programs to demonstrate the use of hempcrete and hempwool.

Leadership + Design
GSN’s innovative, well-engineered home-office architectural concepts use sustainable building materials (including up cycled materials) and optimize energy use.
We also incorporate any and all of the projects’ natural environmental aspects.
Our builds are functional, but also harmonious with the environment.
GSN is partnered with Flintridge Design on all architectural aesthetics of its’ home+offices.
Our collaborative partnership represents energy independence, with a core purpose to continually reduce CO2 emissions.
The builds are Bauhaus in style with modern, sustainable, beautiful designs and the immediate build environment all in mind.

Secure Local Land Donation.
Go Sustainable Now is exploring a property community collaboration partnership in Ventura County with the goal to build our permanent home+office / educational ‘headquarters’ center. We are working with our local officials and community non-profits where we can establish our proof of concept.
Engage Donors Like You.
Go Sustainable Now is a non-profit. Our charitable mission is to better the environment and secure a better future for our surrounding community. We are seeking donors to support our mission to preserve the Monarch Butterflies by planting milkweed; provide local educational programs to share our hempcrete building ‘know-how’ and develop initial design plans for our first carbon negative headquarter’s site in greater Ventura County. GSN’s first funding goal is $50,00 for 2023-2024 to support three key meaningful and immediate initiatives listed on our Donations page. GSN is dedicated to designating its’ donors funds to build a better and greener community.
